what would it take to actually migrate or programmatically copy the material out of https://ethereum-magicians.org/ into Farcaster?

how do we get conversations about the future of ethereum happening _here_, in the true open, with persistent and portable identity/reputation attached?

My guess as to why they wouldn’t want to move it is the typical OSS problems where most “contributors” you don’t know just add noise.

My guess is they would not want to make things “more open” on fc because they don’t think they’d benefit from the type of contribution or attention they’d get. 

And you don’t need reputation if you just rely on ingroup anyway.

could be solved by token gating?

i don’t think eth magicians actually has any barriers to contribution though, outside of the friction of creating an email account
