That’s a good point. 

Kind of begs the question of how much centralization is political vs technical.

I see this as simply an ‘autonomous organization’—i.e. just because it has a machine-intelligence-powered system leading does not make it necessarily centralized

The AI could for example be trained on data generated by the organization’s membership and activated by their inputs—so not necessarily centralized

I keep watching DAO tooling startups die while startups using AI to replace corporate employees get funded.

AI VC funding will fund autonomous organizations, just not the kind we wanted.

There’s still hope in OSS AI + crypto though.
