I see this as simply an ‘autonomous organization’—i.e. just because it has a machine-intelligence-powered system leading does not make it necessarily centralized

The AI could for example be trained on data generated by the organization’s membership and activated by their inputs—so not necessarily centralized

It just makes leadership part of the organizational infrastructure as opposed to a role played directly by its membership

That’s a good point. 

Kind of begs the question of how much centralization is political vs technical.
