Within a few iterations, it’s clear the Vision Pro will replace movie theaters including IMAX. 

An infinitely large screen with a perfect projectionist and Spatial Audio vs. getting in your car to sit in a smelly seat with people using their phones.

I’m torn on this as someone who loves walking to the theatre in Brooklyn, vibing with folks from our neighborhood, and eating fun themed food.

I guess it isn’t the norm because most movie theatres don’t do a luxury experience, but I love the social component of going to the movies. 

Maybe social vr will solve.

As someone who grew up not in New York, the cinema here can be a very distinctive experience. Can combine the dopamine-hit snark of Twitter, the cathartic group release of a comedy show, the melting pot of the subway. Would be a loss if it all went virtual
