They hinted at using it for product reviews eg proof the person reviewing a thing bought the thing. This doesn’t actually fix much though because it’s fairly common to buy your own product and then leave reviews.

oh I didn’t know seller do that. but as long as the system don’t let them post multiple reviews it should be fine, no?

The problem I see is that Reddit typically indexes off of only a few reviews, so it would be fairly easy to buy yourself a Reddit/Digg thread even with ZkTLS If they somehow get more active posters that would fix it.

so with Reddit you will get pseudononmity but no sybil resistance. you could spin up burner accounts and game the reviews. and with google you attach your real identity with the review. i like the idea of anonymity or pesudononomity but with a "proof of purchase" wdyt?
