Yeah typically the biggest person in a niche is not an expert at that niche but someone who is great at explaining the niche to normal people when the niche takes off

They may not know enough or care enough the most about it. Anecdotally saw this a lot in NYC with people during the AI boom where creators realized they could get a lot of hits with AI videos and became AI influencers even though they don’t know or care a ton about AI. Anyway don’t know for sure, just a guess.
