If industrial airdrop farmers can farm a token they can farm the social layer Twitter is less sybil resistant than more airdrops - assume industrial sybillers are using it to sway public opinion toward their interests after every airdrop How does farcaster score on this? Much better signal here I'd imagine.

Warpcast is doing quite well so far. Of course, they don't have to deal with (hundreds? of) millions of bots (yet). Otoh, Farcaster data are open. If we reach critical mass, I expect researchers analyzing, flagging, ranking accounts. Plus, there's always the opportunity 😀 for an alternative client+algo.

FC power badge and client filtering scores well most likely since there’s social proof by virtue of getting interaction from „high quality users to be seen“ but the protocol once abused will score very badly since no one is and hopefully will be banned from it So likely a client by client distinction

Very bad take. Criticism is very valid as Nansen just accepted that they mentioned Sybil thing to Zksync but they didn’t do anything and aside from this if you match the Layerzero initial Sybil list. Zksync is giving close to 150 Mn tokens to the address found in Layerzero initial Sybil list.
