Anyone else noticing the U.S. increasingly geo-fenced completely out of crypto? The land of the free won't allow its citizens to access airdrops because what - free money is scary? Imagine if the U.S. geo-blocked itself from the internet in the 90s. Truly the dumbest timeline.

The SEC can't find the time to protect it's own twitter account but it somehow finds the time to protect all americans from scary token airdrops. Crypto will be fine - I worry about America.

All the measures they seem to be taking are are straight out of the placating playbook. Signal the idea of progress, without actually doing anything and the markets still react favourably. Have to believe at this point they see that as a win-win from their vantage point.

Chilling Effects are a (rational!) form of voluntarism. We need pool-together or some sort of coordination to call the bluff, instead of geo-fencing in fear.
