Current most shippable stack:
Next.js + Radix/Shadcn + Neon

Very happy with this so far and is very close to the underlying. Leveraging each part what its good at and able to eject if I need too.

Having done that in the past I find I appreciate the what the tools are actually doing for me and I am okay with the tradeoffs. Curious what made you go to bare metal?

We stripped everything down and went absolute bare basics. No packages, no frameworks, no dependencies. Highly recommend.

Swap Neon with Supabase and that’s my “gotta go fast” stack. Gonna start using Vite/React/Tanstack Router for web3 stuff that can be client side only

can’t wait for true serverless postgres + shadcn for any package; adding feature becomes a single command

That’s close to my stack for hobby stuff but I’ve run into a lot of issues with serverless backends and cold starts for work projects, so I’m on the dedicated server + Hono train now for things that might need to scale
