Building /impact - a Farcaster curation app where you can earn rewards for tipping (WIP). 

impact.abundance.id

I see the tendency to become a popularity contest and what you get is: 

- curators want to stake on casts that get the most tips
- curators want to get the most up votes so to maximize stake potential
- users tip highest up voted content

This creates a recursive loop that excludes outside thinking.

Really interesting chat with @abundance about the forward thinking work they're doing with /impact for helping communities curate contribution reputation & value. 

It really drove home a truth for me: 

Healthy DAOs require an activated community of informed, outspoken, mission-aligned individuals to prevent capture.
