Here’s how noaapp.xyz works:

— noa brings art focused channels and casts together into a feedless, gallery focused view

— on every new browser tab, noa will show you art that’s been shared to selected channels (up to 3)

— noa’s most intentional feature: it will display each artwork for 10s before moving on to the next. immerse yourself.

— on a second level, noa shows you the artist behind the artwork, their words and a link to the cast (on Warpcast)

The app is meant to hopefully contribute to increase distribution and facilitate discovery of art beyond social apps. Not easy, but here we go!

noa is best experienced as a browser extension (on Chrome) or by setting noaapp.xyz as a ‘new tab page’ on browsers that support it. 

No need to sign up to Farcaster to experience it, no wallet connections.

Experimenting and bringing Farcaster to new territories

I really wanted to explore an area that’s currently not in use and, if possible, allow people to experience Farcaster (or a part of it) without the need to have an account on the network. The data is open and available, which made it possible for me to vibe code and use @neynar API to bring it all together.

noa is, most of all, a passion project. I designed it and it’s been mostly vibe coded, with front end and css customisation made by yours truly - that’s as far as I can go. I have lots of ideas for it, but again, not sure how much will be possible with that in mind. At some point, I’d love to have a dev friend that could take that part on.

It will run as long as I can afford for the API and things don’t break — I’d hate that as it might take sometime for me to figure out the fix.

wdym it opens the warpcast app? are you on mobile?

just checked out the noa chrome extension and it's really good. when i click on the view on warpcast button, it opens the warpcast app but doesn't take me to the photo or the channel.
