@0xjanedoe (and by proxy @0xdusk)'s vision for Nouns Transform NounsDAO into crypto’s flagship “governance lab,” where clear leadership, cross-DAO partnerships, and expert collaboration create working DAO frameworks while safeguarding the treasury for long-term value. What do people think?

No mention of art. No mention of public good.. no mention of building something larger than life. Feels overly corporate and limiting for nouns, which is supposed to be “for everyone.” And frankly, uninspiring 🤷‍♂️ I worry this “vision” won’t drive in new folks or inspire people to join nouns. Hope I’m wrong about it all 🤞 #keepnounsweird

If this means we continue to explore new modes of governance together I can get behind it. If this new leadership team doesn’t involve the community, hard to invest in it and I don’t understand it as a business strategy.

It’s not clear in this description, but does this imply that the DAO becomes a for-profit seeking entity?

In any DAO, the vision should be a collective one and in the case of Nouns, the mission and vision should align with the already existing ethos. And if that should change, a vote on snapshot on camp should be launched to ensure community buy-in and mutual agreement is in tact. Governance processes do not become sustainable with a “vision” alone. DAOs require community consensus between ALL participants Also the federalist party was comprised of MANY slave owners and even those who weren’t built a governance structure that solely centered White men and expended their abolitionists views for political expediency and continued to annex indigenous land all while propping up the institution of slavery. Maybe the Haudenosaunee (or the people of the longhouse) and their governance structure which the federalist party vampire attacked and claimed as their own, would be more culturally relevant and historically accurate. -nat

Love this. Would also love to see NounsDAO leveraging @octant V2. A nounish Dragon vault would be epic!
