Sure, but the only way to fight that is for everybody to have equal information IMO. The more people who know what people optimizing for, the more likely people will pick up abuse, and the more likely it'll be addressed!

I think I get your point and mostly agree. Though if the rules and algos where made like that to reward organic behaviors, my concern is that by knowing exactly how it works might just push (more)people to force casting/commenting in a way that wouldn't be organic for them. I might be totally wrong, just brainstorming

I don't think you're wrong, but you consider what the alternative is - a small group of people with technical skills benefiting from doing this analysis, while the majority are left to guess? There's some amazing, talented people out there with no tech skills, this just evens the playing field IMO

Fair point about leveling the playing field. What troubles me is the idea of FC becoming a space where the primary motivation for interaction shifts from sharing genuine thoughts to simply getting reward$ anyway possible, leading to spam+low quality. It's the authenticity of users/content that made FC great so far.
