Not a huge fan of point 16. Hiding below the fold. As mods would in my opinion rarely look at it to discover new potential members. Would also suggest a gradual rollout? Otherwise I feel there will be pure chaos of all the links and no option to cast anywhere for a moment :/

1. How do you know what people will do after the change goes live? 2. We think it’s better UX to let people reply and get discovered than block completely. 3. Gradual roll out would be messier. Am I casting in a new channel or old channel? Better to communicate clearly, address feedback and then launch. We’re optimistic we make most people happy with the change.

To your first point, we rarely look below the fold as we are used to not looking at it because of the bots. But to your credit, the change could change behaviour. (We are creatures of habit, un-learning is hard) It is indeed better UX. But maybe something in between could work. Members go on top, non members are visible but below the members and all the rest below the fold. Speculating here. Exited to see the update and see where it goes!

Why do you want to be a member of a community that's not interested in doing the bare minimum to discover new members?
