Both. I think the implementation of the Power Badge is deeply flawed, and have seen details around the edges that suggest they are loading it with more than will ever be admitted. Also, I don't want to be a freedom fighter! It's 2024 ffs and we have permissionless decentralized crypto rails

I don't man. I live in the most unequal country on the planet. What's happening with PB is a joke compared to RL in .ZA 🤷‍♂️ While PB clearly needs improvements, being here is an opportunity and a choice, not slavery. I got a PB in 3(?) weeks, knowing nobody on day 1. For those who want it, it can be done.

Agree. Looking at those who reported they got the badge today, I can see they made certain efforts in one way or another. Effort doesn't guarantee you a badge, but I think there is a good correlation.

Things were different. PB wasn’t a thing in feb. in fact the implementation of power badges got me shadowbanned almost right away for seemingly liking too many posts too quickly. I was invisible for a month or more. Now ‘not possible’ and steps are being taken but just because you did it in 3 weeks means nothing.

yep also enough people are on different clients e.g. to check bounties on the bountycaster webpage or supercast, nook herocast and then see all posts. If you have a valuable reply and enough of them you'll get seen and engagement -> PB
