I’m not pro AI censorship I do think AI with parental controls would be cool. Parents should be able to put guardrails around AI as needed and let their kids, however young, play with them. Same as devices with parental controls, etc. I don’t have kids so might be missing something

had the same thought, but what if the child eventually prefers to chat with the AI on a smart device, rather than asking humans? just because the AI seems to 'know' everything or more than the humans the child are surrounded with what if the AI learned the nuances on chatting with our kid, so that the kid may lean on the AI more in the future

That’s already the case with smartphones/tablets + google, right? Which human knows more?

That's true, honestly that was obvious but the thought didn't occur to me. My immediate surrounding, at least my circle of friends with kids, they limit their kids' interaction with smartphones to mostly watching youtube during kids' meal time.
