how do you use ephemeral media (e.g. IG stories / Snapchat)? How dependent is your usage on the social graph you’ve curated in those products?

i’ve been using stories more than posts on IG for a couple years now. both posting and consumption. also a good way to keep loosely in touch with people who aren’t very close friends or aren’t located close to me

What kind of content do you end up posting on stories to share with your acquaintances?

whatever is happening through the day/week intermittently i think. food, drink, art, photos of my cat, travel stuff if i’m on the road somewhere
