how do you use ephemeral media (e.g. IG stories / Snapchat)? How dependent is your usage on the social graph you’ve curated in those products?

What kind of content do you end up posting on stories to share with your acquaintances?

And how do you then share content with people who are close / located close to you?

i’ve been using stories more than posts on IG for a couple years now. both posting and consumption. also a good way to keep loosely in touch with people who aren’t very close friends or aren’t located close to me

Do you post stories too or mostly consumption?

I think I go to Instagram more for stories than I do for posts now (just because they are more frequent updates).

I depend on snap mainly for maintaining close connections and don't use it for new connections.
