The most frustrating thing about the Kindle is it's a niche business for Amazon—and the publishers are not tech companies and conservative—so innovation is so much slower than it could be ifKindle was an independent company (like Daylight) with a federal law that would require portability of e-books across platforms (sort of like phone number portability).

yeah I use it pretty often but not being able to move my books across platforms is pretty bad though same could be said for the movies I have bought on iTunes
