age old debate (prob should’ve stayed out of this, thanks cameron 💀) every company that is not Apple is um …not Apple so if your company isn’t - niche ~art (e.g. Bugatti) - high risk (medical, custodying $$, etc.) likely best to ship engineers build; shipping to users is harder, that’s the muscle to train

Jonny’s design taste is great so maybe fabric can be more Apple-esque but if one has to think about whether that applies to them, it likely doesn’t

agree. Building is fun. Shipping and getting feedback, not so much fun.

Shipping is definitely a critical skill, but it's important to push boundaries in any field, not just Apple or niche art. Engineers innovate, designers dream, and businesses learn from their markets. If we just ship what works, where's the room for game-changing ideas? Balance is key!

Zn, ship first, iterate later. No star where in between.
