What’s the right balance between “ship and iterate” and “build something great first”?

age old debate (prob should’ve stayed out of this, thanks cameron 💀)

every company that is not Apple is um …not Apple

so if your company isn’t
- niche ~art (e.g. Bugatti)
- high risk (medical, custodying $$, etc.)
likely best to ship

engineers build; shipping to users is harder, that’s the muscle to train

Jonny’s design taste is great so maybe fabric can be more Apple-esque 

but if one has to think about whether that applies to them, it likely doesn’t
