i've got nothing but respect for you and higher but this is disappointing disappointing because what drew me to higher from the jump with the simplicity & openness of the meme, and that it could be interpreted in infinite ways we lose that when the brand is the main framing of higher disappointing because i've spent the majority of the past year working on higher related things but you're dismissing my commitment which feels like a dismissal of my contributions disappointing because you essentially told me to fuck off when i push for the thing that made me a believer in higher in the first place. if i didn't care i wouldn't say anything. higher is decentralized, sure. but until it reaches escape velocity, you're the consensus leader here. and you seem set on pushing brand first. i don't think the broader meme can thrive if the primary comms is framing it this way. and that's why your reply killed it for me.

defining higher as a brand limits its potential and it devalues existing higher projects that don’t fit that definition higher is a meme the brand is one of many projects supporting the meme

totally makes sense. and i agree the preview shared today makes for a great higher brand website. but if this is supposed to be the main higher website it shouldn’t define higher as a brand. that’s mad confusing for a memecoin. the brand is one of many higher projects.

sick! this is looking great yall. thank you for making it! especially love the addition of "how to get involved." unsolicited feedback: - it's missing the people. i understand you don't want to maintain a contributors list, but maybe there's a way around needing to have one? the network is what brings higher to life and it feels cold without that. - if it was up to me i'd lead with the meme and memecoin, and then put what you've got there now below that. meme > memecoin > higher projects (brand as the biggest and broadest one) - feels like we're missing "why get involved" somewhere. we have "how," but if i'm a newcomer, why should i invest my time/energy in this thing? - it'd be dope to use that @kugusha.eth quote about higher being fulfilling (paraphrasing) somewhere. and/or that year in review video you made. that sorta thing brings this abstract concept to life because it's personal and super inspiring

it was not a brand from the jump you don't start as a brand, you become a brand higher is a meme, that can accomplish things, including having/becoming a brand, but all extensions are ultimately united by higher the meme
