addendum to yesterday's homepage update – i had to stay up late last night to debug the logic and styling of the cursor party when my page is in night mode. i saw some ghostly visitors ^-^

in night mode, u can't invoke chat, but u can see ppl on the other side of the world who are in day mode as faint ghosts interacting. if u really need to, u can join the chat by using the day mode toggle under the countdown

i also fixed the enter/esc bug i think u found? enter now lets u hold your msg, preventing time out. esc now works to let u clear it

yes i used chatgpt to help me with the math for calculating the movement of my sprite! i've also used it to help me refactor pieces of code that i messily scribble out (⌒_⌒;) a big part of working on my homepage is just personal practice so i don't mind doing things slowly by hand but ai definitely helps when i run into trouble!

i've seen a lot of ppl recommending cursor so i'll probably try it out!
