"If you see or read something interesting online, why not reach out? Leave a comment, send an email, or get in touch. Start a conversation. There's a chance that it leads to an interesting exchange of ideas, a friendship, something. What's ever come out of clicking a button that makes a number go up?" lots of good posts in this blog by paulo coehlo alves. i read this post today, thinking about all the talk on fc lately about engagement numbers, dau vs bot numbers, etc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ https://pcalv.es/reject-numbers-embrace-connections/

i agree with paulo that a lot of social media has been reduced to just clicking buttons to make numbers go up rather than making connections on any deeper level. i get that number go up = opportunities for a lot of ppl but i think with that reality in play, it's even more important to maintain healthy habits with social (⌒_⌒;)

I agree. This is also one of the challenges of FC. When the number of users increases, how can we enable the users in the community to continue to enjoy high-quality social communication, especially the highly related web3. It is easy to gain the number but lose the culture, deep communication, etc.
