I have had an extra affection for pigeons ever since learning that we domesticated them as companions and helpers and now that we’ve sufficiently lost interest, they can’t survive without us. I love this story. I’m guessing you know about pigeons being the first proper drones in wwii (maybe wwi)

it might be for the best since i heard crows can become very possessive and jealous if u befriend them – don't want them dive bombing the dogs (⌒_⌒;)

That reminds me of my college roommate’s boyfriend’s Senegal bird. 🦜 once in a while we would have to pet sit his bird who was tightly bonded to him. She would do exactly that. Fly around the living room attacking us. It was so stressful 😂
