been thinking about channels ever since @ted posted this how does farcaster reward people for going deeper on a subject? how does it incentivize @matthewb to share about drinking chocolates or @keccers.eth to go deep on her health stack? basically…i want to replace my reddit searches with farcaster searches

this feels similar to the 'wasted' opportunity that happened within the FWB DAO's discord when it was extremely active in 2021/2022 — i found SO MUCH GOOD STUFF in their channels… food recs in the LA channel, amazing books in the books channel, they even had a skincare channel with a resident derm posting amazing advice felt like something that was potentially monetizable or at least ENCOURAGABLE for growth but it was never prioritized

@matthewb @ted these are great ideas my biggest question would be: why should someone do this on Farcaster vs. where there are typically rich communities around niches elsewhere? related: how can we support this happening generally? how can we get people to do this without turning each channel (inevitably) into a product, a token, a whatever I love products and tokens but this (should?) be natural, social, if boosted or encouraged a bit by people in the network
