Crikey! 1-episode in and you're not wrong @resipsa! Oh how I love everything about this already. A Frank Lloyd Wright building as the main office set (cc @sinusoidalsnail)....holy shit! The insider machinations and keen observation of the creative tension between commercial interests, professional management, and creative production. The immediate and total corruption of artistic integrity as the faustian dance between money and art plays out between people getting ahead. And oh boy, that head of marketing. What a peach. This is incredible - and all in a sun soaked, golden hour hue of 35mm film. Intensely good. Prestige TV just keeps on getting better. Thanks @resipsa for the heads up.
