Same. I usually buy potted orchids or similar instead, but my husband bought drugstore cut flowers on his way home from work for me and our daughters on Valentines. He laughed at the slim pickings 6pm quality and I pointed this out to him the next day. Thought others might see the same.

Wonderful way to look at that dynamic. Cut flowers have always bummed me out a bit because it’s only a matter of time. But appreciating the weird along the way is a good mindset
