here are some things i do as a professional athlete to recover 👇🏾 - one FULL rest day a week (for me that’s tomorrow yay) - one active rest day a week (swimming, yoga) - a good breakfast !!! - protein post session and lots of water - adding berries & turmeric to my diet for anti inflammatory purposes - 8+ hours sleep - mobility, dynamic stretching & activation pre session - static stretching post session - regular foam rolling, hockey ball, massage gun and recovery boots after dealing with two injuries and surgeries over the past 2 years recovery is a huge priority for me!!

I recently something like a "unlimited sport card" and have totally overdone it. First day: swimming Second day: Paddle Tennis Third day: Paddle Tennis Fourth day: Couldn't move from back pain Fifth Day: Bouldering I know I am overdoing it, but it's just so tempting because everything is free all of the sudden.

hahha i feel you, you may be getting away with it as swimming is lower impact on the body but deffo keep listening to your body especially if you’re experiencing pain! enjoy your movement that sounds like a fun and packed week ☺️
