I'm curious about how onchain games can be built to be multi-platform and cross-platform with shared and synchronized state. There's some fun experimentation that can be had there.

For FOCGs it's effectively native. I'm currently leaning towards having my monetization strategy be entirely onchain and be able to encourage other teams to make slick 3d clients, light web clients, and effective mobile clients all for the same game.
