(To the tune of “Winter Wonderland”)
[Verse 1]
Flags are raised, steel is glistenin'
Marching south, no one’s listenin'
No more gentle and bright,
We ride into the fight,
As the north’s mighty fortress comes down.
[Verse 2]
Spears are sharp, armor gleamin’
Crows above, grimly screamin’
On the wind, banners cry,
From the towers up high,
For their castle must soon hit the ground.
[Bridge]
In the courtyard we can see their king fall,
Flames dance in the crumbled battlements.
We'll say, "This day the South will stand tall,"
And they’ll weep, for their strength has been spent.
[Verse 3]
We push forth in the gloamin'
Victory’s horn loudly blowin'
With our blades shining bright,
We have conquered this night,
As the North’s mighty keep tumbles down.
[Outro]
Oh, these stones now lay broken,
Glory’s words have been spoken,
From the fields all around,
Comes a triumphant sound,
As the South brings their castle to the ground. 2 replies
