is there a specific solution or mechanism you are advocating for? i think you are accurately identifying the issue — cooperatives, like communes, are difficult to operate at scale but, what do?

It's possible to scale up certain types of cooperatives - there are many multi-billion-dollar coops that still retain democratic ownership, with some trade-offs of course Doing a coop DAO will come with its own set of challenges, but we can start talking about that when they are here
