last week, 5-6k points were enough to get you in the top 300-400 for rewards. Now, you can't get in the top 500 with less than approx 14k points. Someone (well, a lot of people) are doing some sort of wizardry to get that many points. I'm not sure how. Full disclaimer: I am not judging, I am ENVIOUS that I don't know how to do that.

i think inviting an account and onboarding it through the invite function gives you a few thousand points

With the update to the spam label, a lot of people joined the rewards. I think the number went from around 3000 to about 45000, which has made the point much higher.

They changed the algo so engagement from more people are taken into account. This change didn't affect my rank even though I have much more points this week.

I'm not bragging, i'm just as clueless as you are. One week i'm at zero, the week after, doing the same shit, i'm at 16K So as long as i don't get how it actually works, i guess i can't explain how i did that. See you next week back at zero i guess 😅
