Rain 5030 $DEGEN What is the one thing that can be done, that you think would relax (or bring temporary peace) to 99% of people? To me it's release your shoulders from your ears, unclench your jaw and remove your tongue from the roof of your mouth.

4-7-8 breathing Breathe in fully for 4 seconds Hold for 7 Exhale completely in 8 seconds I use heartbeats other than seconds Always has worked for me since I learned about it.

I never do just one. I do it until my heart reaches 40bpm which for me nowadays is just twice. When combined with lying on back, then pull left knee to chest, pull as hard as you can, then do 4-7-8 Then stretch out Then right knee to chest, 4-7-8 Then stretch out Then both knees to chest, 4-7-8 Important to do abdominal breathing on all Very relaxing.
