I’ve been writing online since 1997. I’m guessing 99.999% of that is gone

I forgot to archive, got distracted & didn’t update some server or moved files from one platform to another and things just got… lost or corrupted. 

I think /arweave might unlock this level up.

Noob question perhaps. Arweave is a network and has a token. Uh. how icanhas $AR ? Seems like not on exchanges I usually use..

I understand where you’re coming from and I respect that. Though it’s more that I didn’t understand the complexity of being pulled into an ecosystem that I’d have to keep paying for hosting fees, etc. and then eventually have to transfer all of that information somewhere.

I don't want to rain on your parade but you may just want to have the discipline to organise your content and have a backup. I am committing my content for years into a git repo which is entirely web2. No tech will save you if you don't use it or use it wrong.

Indeed. It of course is a story many share.
