Anyone unable to access drakula.app? Full newbie mode or is this a known issue? SSL certificate error regardless of how I attempt to access it (regardless of browser/device/etc).

Augmented context on Warpcast has improved quite a lot. Little icons associated with Design, Podcast, etc. on casts is a nice touch imo.

Does it make sense for most websites to just be PDFs? You can easily make them, tons of templates, can add links, and published online easily. Plus, lots of PDF viewers and readers and so on. Can be downloaded for use without internet (not easy to download a site).

Maybe we need a “early idea” channel here on FC? Sharing super baby concepts or thoughts and feel compelled to do so as a cultural touch point here. Make it part of the FC dialect and social fabric.

Many social apps feel like “getting on stage” which often is a bit much when sharing a random thought. The “pre-fully-formed” ideas is where the magic happens it seems - encouraging this is gold. It may just be a perspective, although I think interface is a big part of this. What is emphasized.

It can be discouraging when one casts and there’s zero response. Like talking to a wall. Not great. The “win” is when the interface still makes it feel worthwhile, like it enhances thinking and the creator sees the interaction as a bonus, not the obsession.

What’s cool about Farcaster is that it has quirks. It doesn’t feel polished, and I say that w/ upmost respect. So many casts I end up having to restore because I slide my finger down and it all disappears on mobile. We can all be a part of the story. It’s not “written”. Enables higher assimilation = care.

@ace does a great job of ‘expressing thy self’ in a public forum. Social tools are an instrument - you can tell when someone feels that have found their ‘groove’ 🎶🪩.

Is low key casting the way forward? Unpolished, open, unobstructed by social stigma and expectations of perfection. Learning how to interact and the dialect of every ‘social’ app experience. We read interfaces like faces of other humans. Sometimes it’s hard to know the style or what the interface wants.

Constantly quantifying social experiences is more disheartening than inspiring. Average number of likes on Twitter is 0. Imagine having a conversation in real life that is being graded. Creating social algorithms is challenging; that's why it takes decades to learn how to have a conversation with another human.
