Some people ask me why I buy physical books. The reason is that when I’m surrounded by them, they stimulate ideas. 

I’d love a Farcaster bot that serves quotes from different books that I’ve personally read. A serendipity engine.

I think you could build it by:

1. Uploading PDFs of your books (even better if just titles)
2. Having it extract passages that fit in a cast
3. Sprinkle your timeline (2-3 per day, randomized source or maybe intentional crawl)

Not really, overall I need the books to be visible in my “flow” of doing other work, like tidying up the house or at the desk

I’ve recently pivoted hard back (pun intended) to physical books. Just the whole experience is different - and superior- for me, caveat of course being you can’t highlight etc. as easily.
