Aggregate data is the way. We’ve seen that with Google and now OpenAI it’s all about talking to what we (in my team) call an “Aggregated Entity”. What an individual listens to on Spotify has indeed little to no value to the artist but its critical when its coellesed into a larger data set that marketing folks use for trends or targeting campaigns.

I disagree with the distinction between user owned and public data being negligible, this difference is critical if we want to create a world where individuals own their data and are incentivised for creating it. For example, what people are posting about on twitter SHOULD be incentive and verifiably cited.

Making the blockchain invisible at /thirdweb

It’s not bad via amplify v6 on AWS, there has been a big investment into making the amplify experience look and feel good with nextjs recently due to its position in the startup landscape. That being said, there are some gotchas like ensuring you are using us-east-1 since the lambdas are deployed there to support the SSR aspect. Probably work checking out SST also since their whole business is related to making nextjs easier on AWS.

This week we shipped update 6 of Gangs of Metacadia (GoM) - we have built out an items and inventory system to the game where we dynamically generate items (images/stats) with AI on the fly using Claude Sonnet 3.5. Getting closer to beta testing phase now.
