if you were to learn a new language, what would that be and why?

Russia fascinates me; so that;
Mandarin; for the coming age in which speaking it would be huge boon and could be an unlock

Italian is pretty interesting.
I'm from SouthEastAsia and English is enough to communicate with the Western hemisphere for the most part. 
The former Soviet Union countries are pretty alluring to me in terms of culture and languages

Never going to learn French

That's interesting.. one for the fascination and another one for more practical purposes. 

i have been fascinated by the languages borne out of Latin ( that's not english )... Italian piques my interest now
