twitter is extremely righty-leaning / trump supportive now, so yes it's an indicator of success but for a particular filter bubble and not 'is twitter succeeding generally'

What people disregard is that twitter is also the go-to platform for non-US news for non-US people.

the algo doesn't surface for US folks, but there are journalists and organizations all around the world (esp developing countries) that use twitter and they are spared the Trump-Thumpers and hate speech i.e their entire feed is local news/opinions

Farcaster canbe better but twitter is under-appreciated for what it does.
