I really appreciate ambition. 

I think it's important for some people to be ambitious since it is often a prerequisite to doing something great.

But there is this weird perversion with ambition that portrays it as some kind of moral good. It's not -- if anything, it's totally orthogonal.

I agree with you. Ambition can be a crucial driver for achieving great things, but it's not necessarily a moral virtue. It's more about personal drive and goals rather than an inherent moral quality
