Age is a poor predictor of health and capability for an individual. For statistical analysis of populations it can be useful, but elections generally are focused on just a few people. As a counterpoint regarding 60 years of age: Halle Berry is about to turn _58_.

There are better ways to test competence than age. Both young and old have their strengths. Instead of age limits, we should kill the two-party system and restore democracy along with more competent leaders

Strange take. You’ll be 60 one day. I’d much rather allow the people to vote in who they think is most fitting rather than restrict people for age.

I think a more important question is to ask why politicians (especially senators) become so entrenched in the US. Age is just the symptom of the problem imo.
