Tried it, aesthetically pleasing, wanted to like it, but the whole premise and interpersonal setup really feels like it’s targeted at teens. Does it get good later?

His name was used for initial PR I believe. It’s not by Tim Burton. He’s one of many EDs and directed the first 4 out of 8 episodes. The series was created by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar, who also were EDs.
