Higher taxes means more money for investments, benefits and salaries as companies reinvest to try to decrease their taxes.

It’s never to increase salaries. We’d rather hire employees in other countries because they have better education (often masters and above), basic healthcare, and mandatory PTO provided by the govt while paying less overall for *quality talent*. In the US, if on Maternity leave or disability… we will likely fire you because you’re using company resources (not govt) while not producing.
