What’s the general attitude toward this attempt to deport a Columbia student protest leader without charging him with anything and despite the fact that he’s a lawful permanent resident?

I'm honestly not sure how anyone can even justify this even a little bit, even if charged with something this would at best a very slippery slope, but as is it's completely undefenseable imo
