I am sitting on 15x3tb all getting pretty old, been looking for an excuse to start rotating in 12-18tbs, "honey i need to spend $3k on keeping up with pugson"

got two WD Red 18TB HDDs this month and just ordered a WD SN770 2TB SSD for my macbook backup

I check diskprices.com every now and then to see how much cheaper storage costs have gotten.

things have improved over the years but the drives are getting so dense i’m worried they will start failing more

my upload is only 75-90 Mbps. 1.2Gbps down.

storage breakdown is 98% being an unofficial eu-east-1 CDN for all the streaming services and the rest is 3d renders, drone footage, backups, other misc files
