got the new Ultra 2 watch and my battery has gone from lasting 6 hours to 3 days on a single charge coming from a Series 5 🥵

yeah it was mad fucked for the past few months. battery would drop by 40% after a 1.5h workout. 

it started shutting off when trying to use apple pay so that was the last straw.

6 hours for a series 5?!? That battery has some problems… I’ve always been able to have a full day (at least 12 hours) for every series. Btw when switched to 8 I was able to charge it every two days (and now I wear it also during night)

i thought i would have a problem with that but after a few days it’s totally fine. the last traditional watch i had on my hand was when i was 10 years old so i’m not a watch guy

I just can’t get over the way the damned thing *looks* - I want the battery life and new sensors but I’m a slave to aesthetics (not to mention I wear a mechanical watch when not exercising)

still rocking a 5 myself, so this cast is highly relevant, boosted and warped

Good gourd.  I’d be moving up from a 5 and been debating if it’s worth it

The Ultra is worth it for the battery life alone
