Ask FC: What’s a good first-day project for onboarding a PM?

Ex: For engineers, we have them commit a small change into main. It lets us confirm their systems are working, and gives them a win on their first day.

Like these steps to build momentum. Feels like day two should be a user interview then.

Prioritize a few user reported bugs. 

Propose a solution to a clearly defined bug. 

Shadow customer support for an hour.

They need to know the product they own inside-out. Onboard them to the product. Then, they should use + play around with the product, file bug reports, if there any  + note down questions to ask engineers or product designers later.
