idk mia, but her memes seem funny and there's prob a reason it was posted on X instead of here.

That said, I generally think this misses the mark in terms of where the conditions for growth came from in the first place and is fairly unhelpful w its proposed solutions.

I'm less interested in the design angle here, and more in description of connections between client design and new user experience. doubt the users I hear voicing similar concerns about in-group/out-group dynamics would describe themselves as wanting to be a product, they want to be here, but don't feel 1/2

Yeah these critiques mostly reflect a deep misunderstanding of the opinionated design vector here. Plenty of other places to go if you’re eager to be a product.

But yeah elitism flywheels are one thing I don’t like either even though I’m on the privileged side of that mechanic
