I love the idea of people exploring and making friends around niche interests on here. If anything I think it should be more weird than it is. I just wish those interests could be something other than crypto. "grow with crypto" makes sense in theory, but in practice IMO it turns off everyone who isn't already in it.

yes! make FC weirder, or just more personal (whatever that means for any individual user) feels like we want it both ways - consumer crypto is both how we're going to onboard a ton of diverse people who care about different things to our network, but people here aren't really acting like that is even possible on FC. big disconnect FC being LinkedIn for crypto people would profoundly limit the upside of the network https://warpcast.com/mjc716/0xa41d3c0c

agree very much on the last point... I think the bull case for FC is that each channel becomes the place where the best creators, the most interesting / interested people in each field or interest can come together and mindshare, and then anyone who is interested in those things gets to be a fly on the wall for the best conversations happening online. And you build your personal online social network from that. And nothing about that has anything to do with crypto.
